"My name is Muse"
I didn't know a huge amount about Muse ahead of his recent live screen debut during the events of Daredevil: Born Again. It was my son who educated me on Muse and his role in the Marvel Universe, and he went on to ask me if I could help him make a Muse figure for his Marvel Legends Daredevil display.
With several recipe options open to us and explored, the final figure was constructed over a House of X Professor X Marvel Legends base torso. The legs were swapped out at the hip for those from Sylvie from the Loki Disney+ series, and a soft goods white sleeve top was purchased from eBay.
Our initial plan for the head was to use the masked Baron Zemo along with the hat from Secret Invasion Nick Fury. In the end our go to Marvel Legends Etsy Store Daisho Creations 3D put a Muse head into stock so that was purchased, painted and installed on the neck peg of our figure.
The final touches were the blood paint splatter on the shirt and sleeves and the belt and strapping with the belt another Etsy purchase from GI Trooper Kits and while this was a Clone Trooper belt (with the holsters cut off) I liked how it fit with Muse and his MO with canisters and compartments for his 'paint'. I intended to finish the figure with straps also sourced from GI Trooper Kits, but ended up finding a piece from an old Diamond Seelct Punisher which worked better and was glued in place to the belt and over the soft goods shirt.
So there we are. The painting is not the best, particularly around the eyes, but we are happy and have a Muse to fight Daredevil until such time as Hasbro can offer us an official replacement.

About Me : As a child of the 70's and 80's I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force) and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licences - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
