The next wave of Diamond Select's Lord of the Rings series has been revealed exclusively at Collider.com
The two figure wave will feature the second release of Aragorn, now in the armour of Gondor and complete with twin sheaths - so we assume he will include two sword accessories. Full content will be confirmed at pre-order and then nearer to release - we hope the figure might include the King of Gondor helm either as a removable part looking at the shape of the hair or as an extra head option.
Aragorn is joined by Lady Galadriel. In a welcome move, and in line with the older Toybiz line, Galadriel will be the first LOTR mainline release to come with a scaled diorama part with the Mirror of Galadriel and her jug included.
Aragorn and Galadriel now seem likely to be Series 9 of the Lord of the Rings Series, which pushed back the previewed figures of Tauriel and Bilbo Baggins. It also means that Gandalf the White - as previewed a couple of times at collector events - is also still not locked in for a release.
The figures are open for pre-order as of the 21st of February 2025. We would therefore expect these to belate 2025 or early 2026 releases. We've updated our Diamond Select Collector Database with these new figures.
