Hasbro Star Wars Fan First Wednesday Reveals, The Vintage Collection

The February 9th Star Wars Fan First Panel from Hasbro has confirmed a number of new releases across the Vintage Collection and Black Series as well as giving us a first look at figures we knew were in the pipeline.

In the Vintage Collection, there will be a re-release of the 501st Clone Trooper with an updated Clone Trooper head under the helmet. It will be packed on a Clone Wars card.

STAR WARS: THE VINTAGE COLLECTION CLONE TROOPER (501st LEGION) Figure

(HASBRO/Age 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $13.99/Available: Fall 2022)

STAR WARS: THE VINTAGE COLLECTION 3.75-INCH scale classic figures and vehicles feature vintage-inspired packaging and original Kenner branding. This STAR WARS: THE VINTAGE COLLECTION CLONE TROOPER (501st LEGION) figure is inspired by the character in STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS and makes a great gift for STAR WARS collectors and fans. This figure comes with 2 entertainment-inspired accessories; a great addition to any STAR WARS collection. Highly articulated with fully poseable head, arms, and legs, the figure can be displayed in any STAR WARS figure and vehicle collection and features premium detail and design across multiple points of articulation inspired by STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. Available for preorder starting 2/10/2022 at 1PM ET at BigBadToyStore.

The BIG Vintage Collection News was a new Jabba's Palace playset based on the Book of Boba Fett. It includes Jabba's Dias and Bib's throne as well as the roasting spit and a wealth of plates, glasses, and food accessories.

It sits within a wider environment with the steps of the Throne room and the arch above the throne. While the Hookah and Pipe for Jabba aren't included, it would not take much to convert this to an Original Trilogy set for collectors. You will also get a figure included, with Bib Fortuna as seen in the Book of Boba Fett. The set is a Hasbro Pulse exclusive and wont ship until Summer 2023.

STAR WARS: THE VINTAGE COLLECTION 3.75-INCH BOBA FETT’S THRONE ROOM PLAYSET

Featuring vintage-inspired packaging and original Kenner branding, this STAR WARS: THE VINTAGE COLLECTION 3.75-INCH BOBA FETT’S THRONE ROOM PLAYSET can be used to create a full scene inspired by STAR WARS: THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT live-action series with moveable pieces and multiple detailed accessories. The playset also includes a highly poseable BIB FORTUNA (TATOOINE) figure, with Kenner-inspired staff accessory. About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
