The announcements are summarised as follows. A wider update with promo images will be added once any press packs are sent out by the Hasbro PR team. Any current images are screen grabs only and will be poor quality.

The event started with an intro to the Hasbro Star Wars team and some scene setting that this is the start of a more regular set of touchpoints through 2025 to keep a rhythm of reveals - but this means there is not as many as the quarterly Fan Streams we saw in 2024.

Black Series

The Black Series followed a theme of 'The World Between Worlds' from Ahsoka and kicked off with a first look at the Anakin Skywalker in Clone Wars General outfit complete with lightsaber. Anakin is number 17 in the Ahsoka collection.

Anakin will be joined by Phase I armour Clone Captain Rex on the new Clone Trooper body. He features removable helmet and twin blasters. Rex is number 16 in the Ahsoka collection.

These are general releases going live on 23rd January 2025 for a Spring 2025 release.

Both Anakin and Rex had been listed as 'Pipeline' reveals at the July 2024 SDCC Star Wars Panel. With their full reveal we are now only waiting for Moff Gideon in Mandalorian Armour and the Praetorian Guard to be unveiled from the eight figures shown off at SDCC 2024.

Vintage Collection

The Fan Stream started the Vintage Collection coverage by marking the arrival of The Ghost HasLab project with a look at the boxed item. They then showed off some pre-production samples of the figures from the Cantina HasLab including the Tonika Sisters, Wuhur, Greedo, and Nabrun Leids.

The first new reveal was Baylan Skoll from Ahsoka complete with orange bladed lightsaber. ANd he is joined by Shin Hati with the same hued lightsaber.

The Ahsoka themed continued with the Mandalorian Super Commando as seen in the World between Worlds flashback scenes. And seen during the Ahsoka flashback scenes, but also in the Obi-Wan Kenobi flashbacks, is a single carded 501st Clone Trooper.

These are all Spring 2025 releases, available through general stockists and pre-orders live as of the 23rd of January 2025.

The reveals then moved to the prequels and a new 4 figure Battlepack of Battle Droids. These have been re-engineered for improved stability with varied weathering and one marked as a Oom commander. This is a Pulse and Disney Store exclusive with Pulse pre-orders starting on the 23rd of January (Disney stocks will follow later in 2025).

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
