The Hasbro Star Wars team hosted a special May the 4th Fan First live stream via the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel and included a number of new figure reveals for both the Black Series and Vintage Collection lines.
Our usual summary of the live stream is as follows, with more in-depth coverage to follow when the press pack lands from Hasbro and their PR team.
Star Wars Black Series
As expected the event focused on Black Series figures already confirmed previously as pipeline reveals. These included Princess Leia, Endor Ewok Village. And she features an additional Ewok Spear accessory inspired by the Forces of Destiny shorts.
Figrin D'An - another pipeline reveal from a previous live stream - is an early 2023 release, most likely in the same wave as Ewok Village Leia. He will feature three different flute instruments. He is joined by Nalan Cheel who will be a deluxe release featuring all the other instruments used by the Model Nodes.While Figrin D'an is a general main wave release, Nalan Cheel is a Hasbro Pulse UK and US exclusive - arriving in the Autumn of 2022.
There is a new Phase 2 Clone Trooper from the 187 Batallion. This one is part of The Clone Wars line as is a Walgreens US Exclusive, sold via Gamestop in Canada and available via the Fan Channel and Hasbro Pulse in the UK. He too is an Autumn 2022 release.
The first Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series product surfaced ahead of the live stream with this new Black Series Darth Vader Role Play helmet based on Vader's appearance in Obi-Wan. It confirms also the Galaxy Collection colour scheme for the series will be a blue tone. There will also be a Force FX Obi-Wan Light saber coming in the same role-play line.
The pipeline reveals at the end of the panel included the HK-87 Assassin Droid and a Luke Skywalker from The Mandalorian.
Vintage Collection
The next 4-figure Troop Builder Pack was unveiled from Attack of the Clones and features four Phase 1 Clone Troopers, including one with the blue Lieutenant markings. This is another Hasbro Pulse exclusive, planned for release at the end of 2022.
The 332nd 'Ahsoka' Clone Trooper was unveiled as was the Anakin Skywalker Padawan and Mandalorian Super Commando.
We also see new Imperial troopers with the Stormtrooper Commando Gaming Greats figure from The Force Unleashed, and a Heavy Assault Stormtrooper from Jedi: Fallen Order. These are both shared Fan Channel releases and will arrive in the Autumn.
There will be a special Disney Parks / Hasbro Pulse Retro set of six of the original Retro figures
