As a child, BRUCE WAYNE™ watched as his parents were brutally killed in GOTHAM CITY’S CRIME ALLEY. Traumatized by their deaths, he devoted his life to becoming the world’s greatest weapon against crime – BATMAN™! To become the ultimate vigilante, the DARK KNIGHT™ disciplined his mind and body to reach the pinnacle of mental and physical superiority in his relentless pursuit of justice!
DR. JONATHAN CRANE™ has spent as much time lurking in the dark corners of the human psyche as he has hiding in the shadowy parts of GOTHAM CITY™. Obsessed with the idea of fear in its many forms, CRANE has adopted the role of the SCARECROW™, a living embodiment of things that go bump in the night. A career Super-Villain, SCARECROW lives to clash with the BATMAN™, intent on making the DARK KNIGHT™ cower in fear.
One of the Dark Knight’s most infamous villains, Edward Nygma enjoys flaunting his intellectual superiority by conducting crimes and leaving clues for Batman to piece together. While this habit constantly leads to the aptly named Riddler failing in his criminal endeavors, his puzzle-problem actually stems not only from his own narcissism and ego, but also from a deep-seeded psychological compulsion. Because of this, the Riddler often finds himself a resident of Arkham Asylum following his inevitable capture.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
