McFarlane DC Multiverse Batman (1989), Batman Begins (2005) Batman and 'Chase' Scarecrow

Writer: MephitsuMephitsu

McFarlane's new DC Multiverse Batman movie releases have opened for pre-order. They include a new single release of Michael Keaton's Batman from the 1989 movie complete with alternative hands, Batarang, Grapnel Launcher, and Ninja Wheels. He also comes with a soft goods cape and two rods which can be inserted in his hands, and into folds in the cape to create the expanded cape look.

Joining him is Christian Bale's Batman from Batman Begins (2005). This new Dark Knight Trilogy release features a hand with Batarangs, hand with smoke grenade, Batarang, and Grapnel Gun.

Both figures also feature the usual display base and collector card. They are due to ship in March 2025. Within the wave, there is also a Platinum Red Chase figure of The Scarecrow from Batman Begins. This new version of Scarecrow comes with a suited body. As a Chase, the figure is randomly packed with the other figures.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
