McFarlane DC Multiverse Lex Luthor in Power Suit figures revealed

Two new Lex Luthor figures have been unveiled in the McFarlane DC Multiverse line, with both going up for pre-order at various online locations for an October 2021 release.

Up first is Lex Luthor in the green Power Suit, as seen in the New-52 comic series. The figure has an alternative set of hands and the usual circular display stand and art card.

He is joined by a Lex Luthor in blue Power Suit from the Justice League: Darkseid War series. This Lex Luthor comes with a Throne as well as a stand and art card. While the releases are similar, there does not seem to be any significant part sharing between the two figures.

DC Multiverse Lex Luthor Green Power Suit DC New 52 7-Inch Scale Action Figure:

Based on his look in The New 52 comics, Lex Luthor is showcased in his green Power Suit and features ultra articulation with up to 22 moving parts for a full range of posing and play. Lex Luthor includes a pair of alternate hands and a base. Included collectable art card with figure photography on the front, and character biography on the back.

A brilliant businessman and inventor, billionaire Lex Luthor once saw himself as the most powerful man on Earth—until Superman arrived. Rather than using his wealth and genius to help humanity, Luthor uses his gifts in repeated attempts to destroy the Man of Steel! Luthor’s superior intellect is his deadliest weapon. He’s constantly inventing new devices in his war against Superman, including his high-tech, armored power suit, which he uses to battle Superman!

DC Multiverse Lex Luthor Blue Power Suit Justice League: The Darkseid War 7-Inch Scale Action Figure:

Based on his look in Justice League: The Darkseid War, Lex Luthor is showcased in his blue Power Suit as god of Apokolips and features ultra articulation with up to 22 moving parts for a full range of posing and play. Lex Luthor includes a detailed throne to recreate his ascent to power. Included collectable art card with figure photography on the front, and character biography on the back.

Rather than using his wealth and genius to help humanity, Luthor has used his gifts in repeated attempts to destroy the Man of Steel! But, after the death of Darkseid in the Darkseid War, Luthor absorbs the tyrannical ruler’s incredible power and leaves Metropolis for Apokolips. Upon arrival, Luthor creates a new power suit, one emblazoned with Superman’s S-shield on its chest, and becomes the new “God of Apokolips!”

About Me : As a child of the 70's and 80's I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force) and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licences - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
