McFarlane DC Multiverse pre-orders for Batman, Eradicator, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, & The Joker

McFarlane has put six of their new DC Multiverse 7-inch figures up for pre-order ahead of Spring 2023 release. There are four standard releases with The Joker from Infinite Frontier, Batman from Hush, Knightfall Catwoman, and Mr. Freeze.

There are then two Gold Label releases of Batman from DC vs Vampires, and Eradicator from Shockwave. These are exclusive to Walmart in the US but should get a wider general release here in the UK via Bandai (UK Distributor).

Once a small-time crook, The Joker fell into a vat of chemicals that turned his skin white, his hair green, and his lips red—like a crazed clown. His crimes always involve pranks and jokes ending with twisted punchlines that are only funny to The Joker. He may look like he’s clowning around, but this guy is bad news for Batman and Gotham City! Product Features:

  • Incredibly detailed 7” scale figure based off the DC Multiverse

  • Designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing and play

  • The Joker is featured in his look from Infinite Frontier

  • The Joker comes with a knife and base

  • Included collectible art card with figure photography on the front, and character biography on the back

As an orphan growing up on the streets of Gotham City, Selina Kyle became a thief to survive. After perfecting her skills as a cat burglar, she now wears a catsuit to steal from the corrupt and rich as Catwoman. Unlike most criminals, Catwoman walks the line between good and evil with occasional acts of heroism between heists. Catwoman is a master martial artist and acrobat. As stealthy as a ninja, she’s also an expert at breaking and entering. Her bullwhip is her main weapon, alongside claws she uses to scale buildings and scratch enemies. She also flirts with her opponents to distract them—especially Batman. Product Features:

An expert in the field of cryogenics, Victor led a relatively normal existence. He worked diligently, but also fell in love with and eventually married a woman named Nora. Sadly, things took an unfortunate turn soon after. Nora became terminally ill, and to stop her degenerative disease from taking her life, Victor put her into suspended animation. The corporation funding Victor’s work shut down his experiments and, in the process, caused a horrible accident. The coolants did irreparable harm and made it impossible for him to survive above freezing temperatures. To counteract this, Victor constructed a special, ultra-durable suit to keep his body alive and at the right temperature. He embraced his new persona and became Mr. Freeze. Product Features:

  • Incredibly detailed 7” scale figure based off the DC Multiverse

A Kryptonian AI superweapon, the Eradicator eliminated contaminating alien influences. On Earth, it built the Fortress of Solitude before trying to convert the planet into New Krypton. It took Superman’s form after Doomsday killed him and, on his resurrection, melded with S.T.A.R. Labs scientist David Connor. After Flashpoint, an Eradicator program constructed Supergirl’s Sanctuary of Solitude before determining Power Girl was Supergirl’s clone and attacking her. A new Eradicator emerged following Rebirth: one of an army of police robots designed by General Zod. This unit observed Krypton’s destruction and reprogrammed itself to preserve the lost civilization—including Kryptonian souls. After joining Hank Henshaw’s Superman Revenge Squad, the Eradicator served Zod’s family. Product Features:

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
