McFarlane DC Multiverse Titans Beast Boy Build-a-Figure wave

McFarlane's DC Multiverse Titans Collect-and-Build wave has opened for pre-order and with that comes a full gallery of the four figures - Donna Troy, Arsenal, Nightwing, and Raven - and the build-a-figure Beast Boy.

Donna Troy is packed with her sword and the arms for Beat Boy. Arsenal will feature his bow, arrows, and quiver and comes with the legs for Beast Boy.

Nightwing comes without any weaponry which is a shame considering he is depicted with his batons on the included art card. The body of Beast Boy is included in the box. Raven has two magic effect pieces that attach to her hands, she is also packed with Beast Boys' head and hands.

The figures all come with the usual circular display stand and collectible art card. The wave is scheduled for an April 2023 release.

Donna Troy was a valiant hero in every iteration of Earth’s reality. She has fought injustice in the Teen Titans and their adult incarnation, but her origins have radically shifted in every instance. She discovered the horrific answer: She was not an Amazon, a human mystically empowered or even a small girl raised and modified by the Titans of Myth. After the return of original Kid Flash Wally West began unraveling malicious alterations to the timestream, Donna learned that she was not even alive, but a construct of clay animated by magic: An Amazon golem created to destroy Princess Diana if she ever went rogue.

Adopted by a Navajo shaman named Brave Bow, orphan Roy Harper spent his early teens learning survival skills and becoming a crack archer. He learned so quickly, he eventually earned the nickname “Speedy.” Making his way to Seattle, Roy served as costumed sidekick and mechanical engineer to millionaire Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow. In addition to battling alongside the Emerald Archer, Roy was a founding member of the Teen Titans.

Dick Grayson began his crime-fighting career as the original Robin—Batman’s protégé and crime-fighting partner. An expert acrobat and skilled fighter, Dick eventually left the nest and ventured out on his own as a new hero called Nightwing. His childhood experiences as a circus acrobat and trapeze artist make him extremely agile. He is a superior fighter and a highly skilled martial artist who has been personally trained by Batman. Nightwing is a keen detective, a natural leader, and a strategist with advanced knowledge of a variety of technologies.

Born Rachel Roth to a human mother and a demonic father, Raven’s entire life has been a balancing act between the light and the darkness. Unwilling to succumb to her demonic heritage, she’s trained tirelessly to control and master her emotions, study the mystical arts and become a hero despite whatever destiny the demonic magic in her blood had intended for her. But demons are not so easily abated, and the persistent threat of her father constantly looms over her and whatever team of heroes she’s been a part of.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
