NYCC 2024: NECA Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 1990 Movie Kevin Eastman Garbage Man, and Ben Cooper Skeleton Girl Exclusive

With New York Comic Con 2024 next month (October) we have our first NYCC Exclusives revealed by NECA.

They include a new 7-inch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990 movie figure of Kevin Eastman as a Garbage Man based on his cameo from the film which was ultimately cut. The NYCC exclusive comes with a garbage bag, sewer lid, market pens and clipboard. He will come in the Ultimate packaging with an opening front cover.

Also revealed so far is another release in the NECA Ben Cooper Costume figure line with the 6-inch tall Skeleton Girl with glow-in-the-dark effect.

NECA will run a pre-order via the NECA Store for their NYCC Exclusives across the 25th to the 27th of September.

NECA is shell-a-brating 40 years of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with another action figure first! Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of TMNT, finally has his very own action figure! Based on his cut cameo from the first film, Kevin is helping the turtles clean up the mean streets of NYC as a 7-inch scale garbage man action figure. This 2024 Con Exclusive figure includes markers, clipboard, garbage bag, and sewer lid accessories. Comes in collector-friendly packaging.

Add to your Ben Cooper Costume Kids Collection with this 2024 Con Exclusive from NECA! Based on the popular kids' costumes from one of the largest Halloween costume manufacturers from the 1950s through the ‘80s, this Skeleton Girl action figure perfectly captures the vintage horror spirit. She stands approximately 6 inches tall and has 18 points of articulation. Wearing a mask styled after the original Ben Cooper Skeleton design and soft goods clothing replicating the look of the classic vinyl costume, she is ready to go trick-or-treating. Her mask, costume, and bucket accessory all glow in the dark for some extra spooky fun! She comes packaged in a retro-style window box, which pays homage to the original costume packaging and also glows in the dark!

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
