Walmart Collector Con 2024 NECA Exclusives from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mirage Comics, Dungeons & Dragons, and Elvira

Walmart Collector Con in the US kicks off today at the same time as SDCC 2024 and features pre-orders for a raft of Action Figure exclusives. From NECA we have four new releases incoming, all exclusive to Walmart in the US. At this stage, these all appear to be Autumn 2024 releases and there are no details of how to get these outside of the US.

There are two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles release. The first is a bundle of two individual boxed figures from Mirage Comics - a Triceraton Gladiator and The Blue Renet. They are joined by a two-pack featuring Mirage Comics' original black-and-white comic book appearances of Shredder and Foot Soldier.

The Dungeons and Dragons retro-inspired 50th Anniversary figures of Elkhorn and Zarak - as seen on the card back images for Strongheart and Warduke - are another bundle, with both figures individually carded but sold as a single lot.

The final release is an 8-inch Elvira figure variant featuring 'Commando' ELvira along with an autographed card.

Based on the original Eastman & Laird Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books from Mirage Studios! This apprentice Time Master prefers playing hooky to hitting the books, and meets the Triceraton Gladiator while skipping out on her studies. The Blue Renet and Triceraton Gladiator action figure are 7" scale figures! Comes in special comic-book tribute window box packaging illustrated by Kevin Eastman.

Based on the original Eastman & Laird Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books from Mirage Studios! The Foot will stop at nothing until their former master is avenged. Special paint deco reflects the original black and white comic book appearance. These figures includes interchangeable hands, bow and arrow, and melee weapons. Comes in special comic-book tribute window box packaging illustrated by Kevin Eastman.

From the lore of Dungeons & Dragons! NECA has taken inspiration from the classic action figure release and reinterpreted it for the modern collector’s market, taking advantage of all of today’s advances in technology and tooling.

The devilishly delightful Cassandra Peterson has played the part of Elvira for more than 40 years with grace, humor, and more than a little camp. As seen in Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, NECA is proud to present “Commando” Elvira! This 8” action figure is fully articulated and features tailored fabric clothing, interchangeable expressions, bazooka, spell book, dagger, and base. This item is a pre-order. Est shipping: November 2024

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
