

In 2022 the Star Trek licence returned to the stewardship of Playmates Toys and two waves of 5 inch scale figures were released from properties including The Next Generation, Discovery, and The Wrath of Khan. Figures were also released from Prodigy, but soon after all further planned figures including those from Strange New Worlds were cancelled. In 2025 the Star Trek licence for action figures was picked up by Nacelle Toys in the US only for 6-inch legacy figures from the original shows and movies. Master Replicas also picked up a licence to release figures in the 5-inch Playmates style from the newer Paramount Plus and Amazon Prime shows including Picard, Discovery, and Strange New Worlds.

The line would launch with iconic characters such as Kirk & Spock from The Wrath of Khan, and Captain Picard, Commander Riker, and Lieutenant Data from The Next Generation. The line will include action figures from across the Star Trek Universe including new properties like Star Trek Discovery, Star Trek Strange New Worlds, and Star Trek Prodigy
