In 2025 the Star Trek licence for action figures was picked up by Nacelle Toys in the US only for 6-inch legacy figures from the original shows and movies. Master Replicas also picked up a licence to release figures in the 5-inch Playmates style from the newer Paramount Plus and Amazon Prime shows including Picard, Discovery, and Strange New Worlds.

In 2022 the Star Trek Universe master Toy license returned to Playmates Toys who resurrected their 5-inch line of Star Trek action figures. The line would launch with iconic characters such as Kirk & Spock from The Wrath of Khan, and Captain Picard, Commander Riker, and Lieutenant Data from The Next Generation. The line will include action figures from across the Star Trek Universe including new properties like Star Trek Discovery, Star Trek Strange New Worlds, and Star Trek Prodigy
